The Almuñécar aqueduct is one of the most impressive in Andalusia, with a route of more than 7 kilometers divided into 5 sections. This historical monument is a display of the skill and craftsmanship of the ancient Romans, and is a living testimony of their legacy in the region.
In the lowest part of the siphon, you can find the archaeological remains of some Roman baths, which makes the visit to the aqueduct even more fascinating. From the end of the rock of the Cercado de la Santa Cruz, the construction meanders above the city, until reaching the imposing citadel.
